Dexter Facilitator Adds Arbitrum Support

JANUARY 2026 — Dexter, the powering millions of x402 settlements, today announces native support for Arbitrum One – bringing Dexter's gas-sponsored payment infrastructure to Ethereum's most popular Layer 2 network.

Arbitrum joins Solana, Base, Polygon, and Avalanche as the fifth major chain supported by Dexter's facilitator, enabling seamless USDC payments without requiring buyers to hold ETH for gas.

Why Arbitrum?

Arbitrum is the undisputed leader in Ethereum Layer 2 scaling, with the highest TVL and most active DeFi ecosystem of any rollup. Major protocols including GMX, Radiant, and Camelot call Arbitrum home.

How It Works

Dexter's Arbitrum integration uses the same proven infrastructure as all supported chains:

  1. Buyer signs an EIP-3009 authorization for USDC transfer
  2. Dexter facilitator validates the payment details
  3. Settlement executes with Dexter sponsoring the ETH gas fee
  4. USDC arrives in the seller's wallet
