Dexter x402 facilitator now supports Avalanche C-Chain with gas-free USDC payments and sub-second finality.
JANUARY 2026 — Dexter, the powering millions of x402 settlements, today announces native support for Avalanche C-Chain – bringing Dexter's gas-sponsored payment infrastructure to one of the fastest and most scalable blockchain networks.
Avalanche joins Solana, Base, and Polygon as the fourth major chain supported by Dexter's facilitator.

- Buyer signs an EIP-3009 authorization for USDC transfer
- Dexter facilitator validates the payment details
- Settlement executes with Dexter sponsoring the AVAX gas fee
- USDC arrives in the seller's wallet

Multi-Chain Backpressure
Dexter's backpressure system tracks gas spending per native token. Avalanche transactions consume AVAX caps separately from ETH caps (Base) and POL caps (Polygon). This ensures fair rate limiting across all chains.
