Dexter x402 SDK Released
Dexter’s new SDK simplifies agent payments with a streamlined developer experience, multi-chain support, and production-ready tooling. It marks a major step toward scalable, autonomous software economies.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
December 2025 — Dexter announced the release of the Dexter x402 SDK, a developer toolkit designed to make it significantly easier to build, monetize, and scale APIs using the x402 payment standard. The SDK removes friction around wallet connections, multi-chain payments, and agent-based execution—enabling developers to move from prototype to production faster. “It’s our biggest step yet,” says the team at Dexter.
What’s New
The Dexter x402 SDK introduces first-class support for modern application development, including React hooks, streamlined wallet connections, and native compatibility with Solana, Base, and Binance Chain. Developers can now integrate paid APIs with minimal configuration while giving users flexible, chain-agnostic payment options.
To support faster iteration and troubleshooting, Dexter has also launched a new debugger interface, giving developers clear visibility into payment flows, execution paths, and integration issues.
Built for Scale and Flexibility
Dexter previewed upcoming features focused on scalability and seller flexibility, including cross-chain payout support, allowing API providers to receive payments on their preferred chain regardless of where users transact. These capabilities are designed to support autonomous software, agent-based systems, and emerging AI-driven use cases.
What’s Next
Dexter plans to expand the SDK with a Marketplace experience, per-user capability controls, broader chain support, and improved funding options—including paths toward traditional payment methods. Ongoing work will also focus on privacy, documentation quality, and developer experience to support long-term ecosystem growth.
